This is a secondary only specialization and it is cool because unlike the other secondary only specializations, each ability in the tree works both in space and on the ground. OK, on to the new Constable Specialization. I might get some on the exchange and try them with one of my science toons with a tetryon build. These have been available as lock box prizes for some time but I hadn’t tried them before this mission. I did however, like the Diffusive Tetryon wepaons on the Shuk-din escort ship. I am not really excited about them at all. The prizes we get over the next few weeks for completing this mission seem kind of lame. I think I may have to surf the exchange and buy one of those. That just might be the toughest shield on any escort in the game. How very sciency at 1.4, holy invincible shield array, Batman, that’s a boss. It’s not a fast ship at all with a rather cruiser like 0.15 impulse modifier. Seemed like is was the same as the player ship the Shuk-din escort. I did like the Tzenkethi escort you fly in the mission.
#STAR TREK ONLINE TZENKETHI SERIES#
This short series of objectives is probably designed to show us why Parr defected, but really, that was abundantly clear in the previous Tzenkethi mission. Oh well, falls on deaf ears at Cryptic it seems 😉Īs I mentioned I do like to idea of flying a mission from the perspective of the former enemy. Remember that? Dating all the way back to 2014 when I wrote a post about character customization called Dressed to Kill, that flew off onto a wild tangent about potential new player classes. In these scenarios I proposed players would be playing many of the same missions but from the perspective of what was the NPC enemies. I mentioned a similar concept years ago when suggesting new player classes that are not traditional such as privateers. This other perspective, method of mission play has a great deal of potential for improved game experience in the coming months or years. Oddly in one sequence where you are on the ground the enemies are “savages” chucking spears and wielding crude knives and yet they take a considerable amount of damage before falling. The mission is not at all difficult especially in space where you lay wicked waste to the hapless enemies.

She tells the story through a mission that you fly in her ship as her. For those of you yet to complete it, you will talk to the defector and then she proceeds to tell her story beginning with her very first mission as captain. So Tuesday, STO launched a new episode whereby we, assume the perspective of Tzenkethi defector, Captain Neth Parr.
